[TowerTalk] Building Antennas

Although the chain stores can supply stuff in small quantities, I've found
for nuts, screws, and bolts I can purchase a full box of 100 at the local
industrial fastener supply for about the same price as two blister packs
with about half a dozen each at the chair stores. For larger bolts, such as
5/16, 3/8, 1/2, and 9/16 the difference is even greater. Alma Bolt/Prime
Fastener is also on line. You might want to compare their prices. (No I
don't work for them or even know any one who does)

Electrical supply houses OTOH seem to be more expensive except for wire.

We have a supplier of structural Aluminum tubing, sheet, and angle in
Saginaw which is less than 20 miles and their prices are usually pretty
good.

It takes some searching to find some of these places, but generally if you
live any where near one of the larger population centers these places are
around.
