Dig a vertical post-hole. Work a rod, threaded at its bottom end, to the
bottom of the post-hole, at a 45-deg angle. Put a steel plate with a nut
welded on its backside in the bottom of the hole, and thread the rod into
the nut.

Works to correct cellar walls which are bowed in, too, with plates and
threads at both ends of the rod. Torquing to 80-100 ft-lb and maintaining
it over time will eventually straighten the bow.

ATUDs here.
