[TowerTalk] trench tool - what works?

There is a spade which is used for digging trenches for sprinkler lines.  The blade 
is slightly tapered, it's about 4" wide and 12" long.  I believe I got mine at Home 
Depot but I suspect anyone selling garden supplies would carry them.
