  Please be aware that most Vermiculite contains free flying asbestos and needs to be treated as such. Anywhere you run into it whether as insulation in housing, as filler in planting mediums, as additives in any ground conductivity schemes, please treat it as poison and not breath, ingest, or allow it to contaminate your clothing. Dispose of it as you would any asbestos material. This varies from state to state so check with authorities for proper disposal.
