The above sentence is nonsense because you are confusing power 
(watts) with energy (watt-hours). Horsepower can be converted to the 
equivalent value of watts, but not "watts per hour", whatever that 
is. Perhaps you meant "watt-hours", but that is energy, not power.

Perhaps this will clear it up:

One horsepower = 745.7 watts. This is a power relationship, not energy.

If you produce one horsepower for one hour, you have produced 745.7 
watt-hours of energy.

One horsepower-hour = 745.7 watt-hours. This is an energy 
relationship, not power.
