Uh..I'd be interesting in hearing what is being 'violated' by using a
stranded ground wire (having put in miles of it at many sites according to
the applicable codes).  Also, exothermic is great.  However, it certainly
isn't the only way to make a reliable ground connection.  Unless, well maybe
YOU have that solid ground wire cad welded to the back of your HF rig...but
I don't.
