[TowerTalk] Sealing cables at PVC exit?

When I first installed it I made some wire "plugs" out of that stiff metal
screen like you find on soffit and crawlspace vents, but since the other end
terminates outside the crawlspace I decided if the kritters wanted to get
their jollies by running through my plastic tunnel, what the heck?  I
haven't used the "plugs" in years and I've never had any of the cables
damaged in the conduit, but somebody did chew through my rotor cable after
it exited the conduit and ran under the house.  Since then I repaired or
replaced all the old crawlspace vents and haven't had any problems.  I
suppose you could stuff just about anything in there if you wanted to keep
them out.  Coarse steel wool maybe?  Stainless steel wool or copper wool
might be better.  Someone suggested fiberglass insulation but the kritters
might like to rob that for nests.  Or make "plugs" out of screen like I
originally did.
