Rustoleom pain help a lot in my fiberglass rods and some fiberglas bars in my cubical cuads, here the UV is very high and the temperature vy high in the summer.

other guys use for small pieces of fiberglass (center rods) the plastic tape, the one that come in bottle and is liquid.

My area is very dry, we take care more of the sun damage.

tnx for the other advices

Fiberglass resin normally does not stand up well to UV unless protected.

Nylon is not normally a good electrical material in wet environments.

Some of the old KLM element insulators had a relatively short life time due
to UV deteoration. I think I replace the ones on my 2-meter FM beams (14L)
twice.

The one son the 20 and 15 meter beams held up well but I only had them up
about 5 years.
