[TowerTalk] Outdoor connector protection

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but a tried and true method in these parts is an empty 2-liter (or similar) plastic soda bottle.  Cut the top off, turn it upside down over a coax splice.  That is, put the coax with the connection up into the bottle.  Have the open end of the bottle downward for condensation drainage, etc.  Replace the bottle periodically as UV and other factors degrade it.  Tape it to a tower leg or other handy structure to keep it from blowing away in the wind, etc.  73 - Rich, KE3Q
