What maintenance needs to be done on a rotator? I've had my 30-year
old Ham-M on the tower for five years without a hitch.

I've never been a big fan of changing out rotors either. That's why I
oversize my rotors to the job. Don't expect a Ham 4 antenna to rotate a the 10-12
square feet of antenna it's rated for. Don't expect a T2X to handle 18
square feet even though it's rated for 20. If you do you WILL be up and down the
tower quite a bit if do it. Make sure all connections are good
ones...weatherproofed.
