[TowerTalk] Lmost ready to install 180ft tower

Hello

I'm almost ready to install my 180ft (60m) tower. Thanks to many of the 
users of this forum!!

There are still some remain questions.
What material should be the tower base to install the iron painted 
triangle cross section tower (1ft (30cm) wide)?
What about  stainless iron?

Should the ground roads be connected to this base or should it be apart 
in the concrete?
I still have problems to connect the elements (6m) together. I cannot 
use cadwelding because I'm using 16mm diameter rebar iron
for the tower so what about if I use a galvanized bolt system  (don't 
knwo the right term in english) with a copper wire and paint
the whole stuff?
Will this material react with iron without oxygen?

And I still have not heared if I  need a seperate lightning conductor or 
the tower is my conductor.
The people here still tells me that I have to isolate the lightning 
conductor from the tower ...
