[TowerTalk] How do you separate aluminium tubes that are stucktogether ?

If you will heat the outer pipe with a propane torch abt 6 inches from where the inner pipe stops inside the outer pipe, the outer
pipe will heat faster and will expand at a faster rate. If you heat at the joint there will not be enough heat differential to make
enough difference for proper expansion of the outer tube.

When you hold the tubes make sure whatever you hold them with will not mar them. If you apply the heat properly you will not twist
them enough to hurt them. They will come apart fairly easily.

When you put them back together use a aluminum doping on the joints, so it doesn't happen again.
