Greetings to you all and best wishes for Xmas and a happy new year 2007.
I live in a duplex unit of public housing in the Perth Metro area.
Some 10 or so years ago, i had permission given to me to erect my antennas on the property by the then property manager.
Now, after many managers have proceeded through this position, i received a letter from a new manager, advising me that i have 7 days to bring down all my antennas. Through the office i managed to find out that the person making the decision does not like the aesthetics of the antennas.
After 10 years of being in the neighbourhood with these antennas up, With all my neighbours having no problems with any interference, My neighbour over the back fence allowing me to have one leg of an inverted V antenna tied to his carport and neighbours either side doing much the same, one would think that i should have some sort of precedence in my favour.
It appears that i may have a fight on my hand and if there is anyone out there with any paperwork that might be of use, like What amateur radio does for the community and for the disabled (Which I am As a Handy-Ham) i would appreciate a copy that i can get some formal ammunition to fight this problem.
If you require any information, please ask as i am not sure as to how to go about laying out a response that will make them sit up and take note.
You expertise and assistance is very much needed and appreciated.
Thankyou.
I will also keep you up to date with any correspondence received.
If you want to chat over skype, please email me for a sked. i would be available from 01.00 UTC to 14.30UTC for a chat.
