I saw in the film, shadows, showing the camera crew high up on a couple of 
adjacent towers that the film never features. However, there is some large 
relative  horizontal movement of the camera I cant figure out...

I really enjoyed it though... Does anyone know who the Guy, presumably a 
ham, in the tux is? or who the YLs are?

It gave me the willys, seeing even the slight sway in the movie, of the 
tower while the guy was hanging on and singing.  I also did not see any guy 
wires to top, so there was some free tower on top.  And the tower looks 
kinda lightweight
