[TowerTalk] Butternut HF-5V question

When I converted my HF6V (I am not familiar with a 5V) I removed all but the 40 & 80 Meter coils. The antenna plays very well on 40m, 80M and 20M.

  Subject: [TowerTalk] Butternut HF-5V question

I have 2 HF-5V Butternut verticals. I am going to convert them 80/40 only.

Do I need to add the extra length to the antenna like the HF-2V?

If I were to phase them, how would I do that to work on 80 and 40 without
using a relay box? Can it be done with just coax phasing runs?

  Thanks,
