[TowerTalk] ladder line

Hi bob,

right you are--I have seen the terms used for any and every sort of parallel
wire feedline, and I am guilty of mixing them up myself. But in a
situation where we are discussing a particular type of || wire feedline with
words only, I think it is important that we make sure we are really talking
about the same thing and avoid confusion. That is why I offered my
definitions.

N.B. in addition to the W7FG ladder line, Titanex also sells their own
version of the line through Array Solutions (or used to -- I have not
checked to see if they still have it).

Rob -

Your definitions are most likely correct and more precise, but I have seen
the 450 ohm version referred to as Ladder Line. For example, the 450-ohm
"Ladder Line" used with the DX Engineering Reversible Beverage antenna (see
their web site).

Not taking sides on this one - just wanted to point out that other
interpretations of the term "ladder line" seem to be out there.
