[TowerTalk] 1 1/2 wave inverted vee

I am currently running a 1/2 wave dipole on 75 meters and am looking for 
a bit more gain there if possible. I have tried a bazooka and a double 
extended zepp with marginal results. What is wrong with using a 1 1/2 
wavelength long inverted vee? or some other length? Hopefully this isn't 
a stupid question that has been done to death and I missed it. Thank
