[TowerTalk] Pull rope on MA550

Has anyone ever attached some sort of emergency pull rope on their
MA550 or similar tower?  This is the first time it has happened but I
am trying to lower the tower and the top cable is going slack.  To
prevent this in the future I was thinking of attaching a rope on the
top section to kind of wiggle that section should it become stuck.
