Yes, as far as vandalism goes, this is not by any means a complete solution,
but at least it keeps the neighbor's 8-year old from doing it with a
jack-knife or local critters from chewing on the Philly. Also, I feel it
provides a better method for installing the guys. You can put a come-along
on the EHS as well as a tension gauge. Aside from the vandalism/ground fire
reasons, there are other good reasons to terminate the end of the guy in
EHS. If it's too much trouble, however, you're probably fine just running
Philly to the ground.

If vandalism access is such concern that you terminate the phillystran run
out of reach, what do you do to secure your guy grips at the guy anchor
point?
Cutting philly is not the ONLY damage a vandal can do, right?
He/she could simply unwind the top EHS guy grip at the guy anchor. A pair
of pliers to get the unwinding started, then the rest is an easy thing to do
by hand...
How do you secure your guy grips from vandals?
