It should kick butt.  After living in flat Florida for years I am  setting up 
on a 900 foot high sloped rise down to the Pacific.  According  to HFTA I 
did, my stack will provide excellent low angle radiation without  sacrificing too 
much high angle stuff.  It's hard to describe the results  without showing 
the graphs.
 
I suggest you do a terrain analysis to see for yourself.  There is an  N6BV 
authored program in the ARRL Antenna book.
