Yes Sir !
It was the first beam me and my brothers put up on our home brew 55' tall 2"
water pipe tower back in the 70's.  That 2-elem quad didn't last very long 
in our
Michigan winter, nor did it really work that well, but hey, it sure looked
cool (which, for us teenagers, was what was real important anyway right?)
