The Force 12 Sigma-40XK is ideal.  It is very light and fits in a 4 foot
package.  However, it must be taken down and manually adjusted for each
band, so is not good for foul weather operation.  Also, you may not be able
to get one by the time you leave.

I am taking my family this December to Jamaica.

My friend has a new small hotel with a 4th floor open deck.

I want to bring a small ICOM rig and an antenna.

Any ideas on a small antenna that will work reasonably well?
