[TowerTalk] JAMAICA ANTENNA

In 2004, my wife and I travelled to the northeastern part of France
and I brought along my K2 and a MP-1 small "screwdriver" vertical by
Superantennas. I set this antenna up on the desk of our 6th floor
room next to the window with a wire counterpoise along the floor and
was able to work much of Europe plus 3V and A6, all QRP (it was the
WPX weekend). This antenna breaks down to ~2 ft. pieces and easily
fit in my suitcase along with the rig and a miniature switching P.S.

Another easily-transportable antenna is the Buddipole. If there are
some trees where you can string a dipole, that would probably be even
better.
