In my experience, underground conduits without drain provisions will nearly
always accumulate leakage or condensate water faster than it can escape,
even if the ends are open. It's interesting that in the case being discussed
recently there was a rotor cable in the conduit that had no problems, yet
the SteppIR control cable did. We don'y know why yet, but I think your
suggestion is one possibility.... thanks.
