[TowerTalk] Vertical Ground Experiment

A number of years ago here in Florida I had a ham friend that experimented 
with using his screened pool lanai as an antenna and his pool as the ground. 
Lightning struck a power pole nearby and allot of current traveled through 
the water in the pool. The next morning when he awoke he found the pool half 
empty. It seems that the lightning charge cracked his pool, DOH!!!
