I'm QRV 6M, 432 and 1296 EME. However, in the winter, I chat a bit on 160
and 75M. I plan to shunt-feed a 85' tower, with four 7 el yagis on a 30' x
30' h-frame, for 75 and 160M, soon.

I will lay out radials for that shunt-fed tower.

Since my ground rods are non-existant, this sheet copper ground system would
be placed at the base of the tower and another just outside the shack.

My question is: Would several square feet of copper, buried a foot deep, be
an effective ground system?
