There is no doubt that the ExoFit harness is a great device...

I do MUCH more tower work than your average tower 
owner and I use a simple belt w/ D-Rings.  If I 
was doing this professionally, I'd want and be 
required to have some sort of fall arrest 
harness.  But for your once or twice a year 
weekend warrior, the full harness would be 
cumbersome.  This is my OPINION and its never a 
bad idea to have MORE, but is it necessary?  I don't think so.

My belt is safe, comfortable, and not 
$300.00+!  If money is not an issue, go get it!
