I didn't but unfortunately 11 years ago when I bought the place it was
just a semi-rural retirement part of the county. 10 years ago young
people started moving in. 8 years ago the young voters around me voted
this place a city. I was out voted. So over night came deed and tower
restrictions. Yeah slap me for not seeing that coming.

Eminent domain and land grabs happen too. Yes I could move .. economics.
I would still have to buy a house at todays prices with a *new*
mortgage. Uhhh no. And I would still have to find a patch of land
somewhere that won't be ravaged by some tax hungry municipality in 5
years time. In Florida not much of that left.

Oh BTW in Florida the "Gee thanks for all the help with the hurricanes"
is over. :-(
