[TowerTalk] Spray Galvanize Compound

A friend of mine has recommended using "Rust-oleum" spray on Galvanize Compound for some small poles I have here to prevent rust.

Does anyone have any experience good or bad with this brand or type of Galvanize.

Does it work, for how long, best way to apply it?
