Bill, Just a further comment as I read the same page for what it is worth, "He found only hundreths of a dB difference between burying radials at 5 cm (2 in.) or 15 cm (6 in.)." I guess it depends on how difficult an additonal 4" would be to bury. Best regards, Monty/WB5GLB since 1969
