[TowerTalk] Guyed vs. free-standing

    Yes. In general, the guyed tower is cheaper for  the height. And MUCH 
better when you start getting up to 80-90 feet and above.  For a self-supporter 
you might need 6 cubic yards of concrete or more. That's  significantly more 
than for a guyed tower - e.g. 2-4 yards. 
 
    I was only talking about the steel in a tower.  Anything else is up to 
you and will obviously change the cost.
