[TowerTalk] PL259 connectors

Some hams, being cheep, go to a hamfest flea market and buy the least 
expensive PL259s they can find.

My "professional" suggestion is that the Amphenol 83-1SP, which is 
mass-produced in Mexico, is the best choice. It has a silver plated 
plug and a nickle plated shell. Another good choice is the PL259 made 
by Andros in Rochester NY.

Both connectors will work without modification with all RG213 type 
cables, including LMR400 and 9913.
