Yes, David Fridley KG4FZR, was a professional tower climber who owned a commercial tower company
headquartered in Athens,Tn.  It is believed that David died of a heart attack while descending the
access ladder on one of his towers.  He fell about 20 feet.

Oops.  It's come to my attention that someone might have thought I was
referring to David Fridley, who was killed in a (not stupid) tower accident in
Tennessee a couple of years ago in the below post.  I was definitely NOT doing
that.

My comment "Hopefully not because the guy who ran it managed to get himself
killed in a stupid tower accident..." was pejorative to illustrate that anyone
dumb enough to be fresstanding Rohn 25 tower like that as a professional tower
installer is lucky to still be alive.  It was NOT David Fridley!
