[TowerTalk] Skyhawk Question

I am in the process of assembling a Skyhawk antenna.  According to the  
instructions the element length of the first ten meter director (closest to the  
driven element) is actually shorter than the second ten meter  director.  In my 
experience director element lengths become  progressively shorter, not longer. 
 Are the instructions  correct or is my thinking wrong?
