[TowerTalk] XM-240 Tuning Issues

Any other antennas around? I have a KT-36XA 9 feet above my 40-2CD on a separate rotator. When the Boom of the XA is parallel to the elements of the 40-2CD ( 90 degree firning direction offset) I see a SWR rise (on the 40-2CD) such as you describe. My theory is that the XA boom is close enough to resonance on 40 to detune the 40-2CD. When they are in-line (firing directions) the SWR returns to normal.
