It is one cable per section. The bottom of each section has a two cables
connected that run up to the top of the section over a pulley and back
down
to the top of the the preceeding section. They all go up at the same
time.
The bottom section cable pulls up all the others. On my tower there is a
pull-down cable that runs up the center for the tower and connects to
the
bottom of the top section. All works great. The TASH towers are remakes
of
the TRIEX work horse towers.
