Don't view that as a plus -- as I noted in another post, steel 
conduit shields electrical wiring, preventing it from acting as a 
transmitting antenna for noise from consumer gear to your ham 
antennas, and as a receiving antenna that couples RF from your ham 
antennas to that same consumer gear.
