I have used a Cushcraft A627013S (3 els on 6m, 5 on 2M, and 5 on 440). Two feedlines
used.
Too bad you are not close to my QTH (near Albany, NY); I am trying to sell this antenna as I
do not have room on my roof for it. Otherwise, I would be using it a lot. It served my
purposes a lot when I lived in Iowa.

I was always around 50 foot or so with my big quads over the years. I really never had much mechanical problems except for rotators. Most of my quads were on either 30 or 45 foot booms. Most covered 40 M thru 10 M with at least 7 total elements. They did play very well but I tore up a Hygain HD 300, Orion 2800 and the big Yaseu over a 10 year stretch in Illinois due to wind and icing. The slight advantage you get in gain with a quad can be made up with another director or two with a yagi and you'll save your rotator as well.
