Language is a wonderful thing.

a)  I didn't apologize.    b)  I didn't retract my comments.
c)  a little crow, properly seasoned, never hurt anyone.

I WAS cranky in my first post, even though the point was well made.
And I wouldn't do it much differently, again, if the occasion arises.

The real story, as many have observed, was obscured by the ill  
considered
you-tube nonsense.   But the real story is a substantial one, and  
bears reading.
