I have a 4 element StepIR at 72 feet and the driven element from my old Mosley 40 meter beam above it at 80 feet.  Both antennas insulated from ground.  My 80 sloper is attached at the 64 foot level and runs to a height of about 6 feet off the ground.  The SWR is flat from 3500 to 3560.  I use a MT-3000A tuner for the 3560-3600 portion.  The Alpha 99 doesn't like any SWR above 2.5:1.  The sloper works very well on 80 CW and RTTY.  I wish I had a better receive antenna because my noise level on this city lot is usually S7-9.  I'm sure a lot of the DX stations hear me but I can't hear them.  I tried the MFJ noise antenna system with out any success.

I have a piece of Plexiglas with banana plugs to add a 65 foot piece of insulated wire that runs along a vinyl fence about 6 feet off the ground for 160 meters.  It took a lot of tuning to get it flat on 1.800 to 1.840 but I got it there.  I've worked Europe with this antenna this past month.  Again, noise levels are a problem but,  every once and a while, 160 is fairly quiet.  

I would avoid the Alpha Delta antennas, if you have the room for a 65 foot sloper on 80. At first I thought about getting on for 80 and 160.  I'm not concerned with 40 because of the rotatable dipole at 80 feet.

This summer I'm going to play with an  inverted L.  However, I don't have room for many radials.
