My understanding is that Phased Verticals have a relatively narrow beamwidth
compared to circa 120 degrees if using a Driven Element & Parasitic
Reflector approach.

How would things play out by using separate fixed-length 80m thru 10m band
Parasitic Reflectors spaced at the requisite distances per band - in a
straight line with the DE (BigIR)?

Wouldn't this just be a vertical take-off (excuse the pun) on the staggered
DE + REFLECTOR horizontal non-trap tribanders (sans radials) venue?

Assuming this could work, how would the a likely overlapping radial
situation play out?

The next level would be to get a wider coverage by using a triangle pattern
with the BigIR at one end, and and two lines of indie-band Parasitic
Reflectors oriented toward the other two legs of a triangle.

Has anyone experimented with either of the above concepts?

Tnx & 73.
