Ham Radio Deluxe is an excellent suite of software that includes 
radio control, logging, digital encoding and decoding, and a mapping 
program. The mapping program can be centered at any location, can be 
scaled to virtually any size, can show grids, etc., and can display 
as a great circle map. Ham Radio Deluxe is FREEWARE!  Google to find 
it. It's written by Simon Brown, HB9DRV. I met him at the Dayton QRP 
session a few years back, and he's recently been hanging out on the 
Elecraft list.
