[TowerTalk] 2 HAMS died in Kansas City

Whoa time out Bill: I have had 2 antenna accidents in my 50 years. Both were 
caused by carelessness on my part. I got lucky, I should either be dead or 
at least totally handicapped. These 2 guys just didn't have any luck with 
them. Whether or not someone subscribes to a mailing list, any mailing list, 
will never compensate for carelessness. Those guys were killed because they 
made a mistake plain and simple. They would have made the same mistake 
whether or not they subscribed to a/any mailing list......

Another reason to subscribe to Towertalk.  This issue of getting to  close 
to
power lines was discussed last week.  My guess is the two deceased  hams 
were
not subscribers.  How sad.
