[TowerTalk] Antenna Selection Assistance

Not to sound redundant here, but the common "customer service" accolades in
this thread are centered around "calling" SteppIR on the phone. "Reach out
and touch someone" Where have I heard that before?

Emails get lost. Please don't assume someone is ignoring an email. Call em!
You will probably get that good old American "instant gratification" thing.

BTW, I agree that the 3 element SteppIR is the best choice. I don't have one
up (yet) but I sure want one. :-)

Since I've been called out as potentially dishonest, and I happened to
be over at Skip's tonight, I snapped a picture of his SteppIR.

I also got to see the element laying in the yard, the rubber boot had
torn completely off and the fiberglass tube just fell. I spoke to him
about it again to get his side of things straight. Skip has emailed
them twice, had his request misunderstood the first time and
completely ignored the second time. So this great customer service
you are all talking about passed him by.

But on the bright side, he does still manage to make contacts with it like

very helpful when ever I called them I think rumors with no callsign or
anything to back them are unacceptable . IE some local ham
