[TowerTalk] Update on W2GD

Spent most of today with John (and his son, and K8PO). Good progress,
but still a long ways to go.

I told John that quite a few people are interested in his status, so
with his permission, I have set up a blog at:

I'll be posting whatever John wants to share publicly there, rather
than clutter up this reflector.

Comments are open, so this is a great way for you to send messages to
John. I'll relay your notes to him.

I'm involved in this because I live part-time in the Portland area,
have a pretty flexible schedule, and John has been a good friend for
>30 years.

Please don't call him directly at the hospital yet...he really needs
the rest now. Thanks for your understanding.

I'll post something on the blog when he's in a better position to
handle inbound traffic.
