The Zero Beaters ARC in Washington MO will be having there FD at Lat
38.399°, Long -90.9363°, with 80M full size loop at 50 feet, and TH6DXX at
60 feet on a portable tower. Should be a fun time. I will be driving from
Philly with a case of Yuengling (so I don't have to taste BUD)....

Derek,
Good luck with the FD Exercise, The Arlington County Public Service Radio
Club (ARPSC) is also going to the field this year. Details available on the
club web page at: www.w4ava.org
Hope we get a chance to work you. We'll be running three stations from
inside Arlington's Emergency Technology Support Unit (ETSU pics on the web),
a guest station outside and perhaps a couple of tent stations. The ETSU
comes with its own 20kw genset, TS-480, Mosley Tri-bander, Diamond V-2000.
The tribander is on a 31ft pneumatic mast a V-2000 sits on top a 61ft mast
which is where we hand 160m inverted-V, fed w/450ohm line to a SA 2060 Heath
Tuner...lots of fun for old and new hams. NCR amateurs are welcome to visit
Saturday afternoon between 2pm and 5pm.
73,
dave
