I happened to have kept track of an article from the August 2003 issue of QST concerning radial lengths. It's probably the best info I've seen on the subject. It not only covers length, but more specifically, optimum numbers of radials. If you don't have a copy you should be able to find it in the ARRL archive. Hope this helps. Larry K0IS
