Thanks this is problem solve din an instant and I feel rather stupid but
here goes.
I did replace the control cable with another one but somehow every time the
Ground Wire must not have made a good connection. When I tested the Unit in
the shack it delivered the 12V but at the switch itself. So I traced it from
there - the reason I am amazed is that the same error existed with a
different control cable as well! Anyway its seems that the screw for the
earth wire must have had some corrosion or something as I used another
terminal and now it works 100%!
Thanks for the quick response and boring all to death with this stupidity -
hi! Next time I will find a more challenging fault!
Have a great day!

Thanks for the response so far. I did download the manual and also have a
hard copy and tested with new wire from the Relays to the switch box but
could not figure out exactly what to test as it does not give good test
procedures or my knowledge has just failed me!

Subject: [TowerTalk] Ameritron RCS10 Remote Antenna Switch Failure
Good Day
I wonder if there is anyone on this reflector who has experienced problems
with this remote antenna switch. I have used one for the last 2 or 3 years
which I purchased new. On Sunday I realized that it does not want to switch
from the Antenna 1 position to any other position although the unit in the
shack switches (LED's) Antenna 1 remains the selected antenna on the remote
box irrespective of the position of the rotary switch. There was no
lightning or any other obvious outside factors that could have damaged the
unit - the last time I used it it worked (which was 4 days before Sunday).
My question is whether anyone has experienced this problem before or does
anyone have some voltage or other tests I could follow to try and trace the
fault. I cannot return it to MFJ as I imported it from the US and will cost
more in shipping to return that buying a new one - hi.
Thanks for this very interesting reflector.
