I recently did extensive bonding at N6RO to cure some hum/buzz 
problems. I made very good use of the braid of some junk RG8. The 
copper braid of a good RG8 and RG11 designed for transmitting or for 
high quality video (baseband video, NOT MATV or CATV) is typically 
equivalent to AWG#10. Study the Belden catalog for details. As 
previously noted, I would not use it outdoors.
