[TowerTalk] HyGain HG-70HD Crankup Tower Raising/Lowering Fixture

What Blake and I used was my US Tower raising fixture. The UST raising
fixture is quite expensive about 500 plus dollars. If what you guys need is
a raising fixture for one of the smaller HY-Gain towers I think I could get
one made for half that cost if anyone is interested.

I believe the original fixture for the Hy-Gain towers affixed to the back
edge of the concrete base that the tower sits on and used screw anchors and
guy cable to the rear of the base to hold the weight of the tower. The tower
is raised and lowered with a winch attached to the vertical tube.

I wouldn't mind having one myself but I think that chances of finding one
are slim. BUT...BLAKE, N4GI had an idea of adapting another brand for use on
this tower. Perhaps he can tell us, and remind me, of what he used to lower
my tower when he took it down a couple of years ago.  It apparently worked
well enough for him, so that's good enough for me.  - Mike

Getting to old for ladders.  Looking for a HyGain Raising/Lowering Fixture 
that was sold for use with the HG-70HD crankup tower (and probably other 
models). Sold as a HG-GP Gin Pole. Current HyGain (now MFJ) has nothing of 
the old tower stuff.
